1 Density & Inertia Learn about density and inertia, especially as they relate to the moon.
2 The Moon Setup a lab to show the difficulties in getting to the moon and establishing an orbit.
3 Insects Students collect and classify insects.
4 The Bee Learn about bee by first hand study of a (dead) bee.
5 Arachnids Examine and study arachnids and compare them to insects.
6 Static Electricity Experiment with different sources of electricity of position.
7 Electricity Construct different electrical circuits.
8 Bacteria Test for antibacterial effects of lichen.
9 Simple Plants View samples of algae, mosses, and ferns.  Learn slide preparation and practice using a microscope.
10 Plant Collecting Practice techniques for collecting and preserving plant specimens.
11 Metric System Practice measuring with the metric system and show the advantages of converting units in the metric system.
12 Area & Volume Students learn different ways to calculate volume and review the concept of density.
13 Chemical Testing I Test for the presence of starch and sugar in partially digested food.
14 Chemical Testing II Test for the presence of protein and vitamin C in foods.
15 Intestine Model Advanced lab where students construct a model of the small intestine and learn why nutrients need to be broken down to be absorbed by the body.
16 Moon Craters Try different methods to simulate moon craters.
17 Moon Phases Construct a device to simulate moon phases.
18 Scavenger Hunt Go on a scavenger hunt and construct an ecology box.
19 Camouflage Learn how animals use colors to hide.
20 Animal Defenses Create a new animal and design its defenses.
21 Light Energy Experiment to learn the characteristics of light.
22 The Eyeball Dissect a cow eyeball to learn the different parts of the eye.
23 Photosynthesis Experiment to show that plants give off oxygen.
24 Plants & Carbon Dioxide Form and test a hypothesis about plants based on a knowledge of photosynthesis.
25 Plant Growth Test a root growth solution to see if it helps plants grow.
26 Work Use a simple machine (an inclined plane) to learn about friction and work.
27 Pulleys Learn about pulleys through hands-on experimentation.
28 Levers Learn to identify first, second, and third class levers.
29 Soil Observe the chemical weathering of rocks.
30 Erosion Test different types of ground to learn which types help reduce erosion.
